Put a smile on the faces of children in need!
The PlusORTHO team got involved in a social project for needy orphans in Thailand. Wat Tham Tako is a Buddhist monastery where monks live alongside more than 200 orphans. The monastery relies on donations from the local population and sponsors to provide the children with food and clothing (daily ration per child: 0.24 CHF = 9 THB).
When asked about her reasons for crowdfunding, Supaphon Phutest said: “As a Thai woman, I have seen a lot of suffering in my home country and would therefore like to share some of the prosperity I enjoy in Switzerland.”
The goal was to raise CHF 5,000 through crowdfunding. Unfortunately, this goal could not be achieved. Nevertheless, the company PlusORTHO is supporting the monastery with a generous donation of CHF 3,000!
