Social project “Thai orphans in need”
Put a smile on the faces of children in need!
The PlusORTHO team got involved in a social project for needy orphans in Thailand. Wat Tham Tako is a Buddhist monastery where monks live alongside more than 200 orphans. The monastery relies on donations from the local population and sponsors to provide the children with food and clothing (daily ration per child: 0.24 CHF = 9 THB).

Peer Reviewed Results: Conformis Patient Specific iTotal CR Achieves Better Rotational Alignment and Tibial Fit Compared to Off-the-Shelf Implants
BILLERICA, Mass., June 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Conformis Inc. Individualised knee joint endoprosthetics: patient-specific total joint replacement
Summary: Endoprosthetic joint replacement of the knee joint has become one of the most common and successful operations for patients with advanced tricompartmental knee osteoarthritis. However, many studies on the clinical outcome after knee joint arthroplasty show that patient satisfaction is lower than originally thought and that up to one-fifth of patients are not completely satisfied with the postoperative outcome.
